Kat Ivy
Indie Folk/Pop Singer Songwriter
Kat Ivy is a New Hampshire-based singer/songwriter whose music weaves together the emotional honesty of folk and the melodic allure of pop. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lifehouse, Taylor Swift, and Noah Kahan, her songs explore themes of love, life, and mental health with poignant lyricism and a voice that’s both captivating and soul-stirring. Her music isn't just something you hear, it's something you feel.
Raised in a home filled with music, Kat's journey began at age 12 in the quiet corners of her bedroom, where she started writing songs as a way to process the complexities of growing up. That same year, she picked up a guitar and discovered the magic of blending melody with vulnerability. What began as a personal outlet soon transformed into a lifelong passion.
Since then, Kat has brought her heartfelt performances to open mics, songwriter showcases, and cozy stages across central New England and Nashville TN, earning a loyal following drawn to her authenticity and emotional depth.
Her debut EP "Nostalgia" dropped in June 2025 — a beautifully crafted collection that captures the bittersweet essence of looking back while moving forward.
In October 2024, 2025, & 2026 her singles "Memory Lane", "Wonder Woman (for Rachel Jean)", and "fool's gold" was selected for Boston’s 92.5 The River Homegrown Showcase, a nod to her rising presence in the local scene.
Kat Ivy was nominated for Music Video of the Year for "Cowboy" at the 2026 Nashville Josie Music Awards and Country Artist of the Year at the 2026 New England Music Awards.
